Happy Easter Eggstravaganza Blog Hop Giveaway

Novel Reaction Kids is very excited to be participating in the Easter Eggstravaganza Blog Hop Giveaway.  Let me introduce you to Novel Reaction Kids:

Novel Reaction Kids was created when the reviewers of NovelReaction.com started to discuss the problem with finding good quality books that you are willing to read to your child(ren) over and over and over again. Because as a parent that is exactly what you will do, read the same books more than once for your child. We decided what better way to share our love of the great books we have found for our children than by creating a website to share them with each other and others who might be interested.

Each child is different and so is their taste in books so NovelReactionKids.com covers everything from adventure to holiday, animals to feelings and everything in between.  In addition to talking about our feelings about the books we are reading to our children, we also post our children’s reactions to the books we have read. Also, we have found that a lot of children’s authors have great websites to go along with the books they have written and we discuss them here.  Stop by frequently as we will be constantly updating and adding to the website.  We am happy to receive any comments or suggestions! So read, enjoy and repeat!

Now for the contest! Novel Reaction Kids is giving away three children’s picture books to one lucky participant.

The Adventures of Blue Ocean Bob: Blue Ocean Bob Discovers His Purpose By Brooks Olbrys Illustrated by Aleksandra Beaucher Review

Bob isn’t content with how his island life it. It isn’t bad, but he wants more. In The Adventures of Blue Ocean Bob, Bob sets out on a quest to find the meaning to life. He takes his closest friend, Xena, a well-meaning bird, and they set out to find what Bob’s life can be.

The book, The Adventures of Blue Ocean Bob, is a very cute book inspired by the success philosophies of Bob Proctor, Napoleon Hill, Earl Nightingale and others. Bob Proctor taught people to use the power of their minds to achieve prosperity, rewarding relationships and spiritual awareness. Brooks Olbrys, the author, has done a very good job bringing the ideas to children in this fun book.

The art work was fantastic!! On the inside cover is a map of the island with so much for the kids to look at. Aleksandra did such a great job drawing the sunken ship and the beauty of the island. The colors are very bright and vivid. There is quite a bit of detail put into every picture. My children loved the animals that Bob comes across, they were so well drawn.

I would recommend this book to anyone with children. The morals behind it are so uplifting and easy to explain to kids. My 5 year old has loved looking through the book himself. I would love to read any other books that Brooks comes out with for this series. The story was so fun to read and kept the interest of my three year old.

Blueoceanbob.com, the website has several games for kids to play including a matching game and more information about each of the characters from the story.
